Invitation to Attend

SilviLaser 2012: First Return will take place at the Sheraton Wall Centre, Vancouver Canada on 16-19 October 2011. SilviLaser 2012 is the twelfth international conference focusing on applications of laser systems for forestry and forest landscapes. Previous conferences have taken place in Canada, Australia, Sweden, Germany, USA, UK, Japan and Finland.

SilviLaser 2012: First return marks the 10th year of the conference, the first of which was held in Victoria, British Columbia. The return to Canada is aimed at  bringing together research scientists and practitioners from around the world to share their experience in the development and application of LiDAR for forest and vegetated environments.
